QUEENSBURY – The Great Escape in Queensbury has come up with a way to solve its staffing shortage and help local charities at the same time.

The theme park has started what it’s calling a "booster program."

They are encouraging non-profits to send a minimum of five volunteers to work at the park for a day.

In exchange, the non-profit gets at least a $500 donation and tickets to return to the park as a guest.

Because of unprecedented staffing shortages, the Great Escape is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this summer.
