LAKE LUZERNE - It's been five months since a fire destroyed Rachael Ray's Warren County home.

Ray is continuing to record her show in the guest house on her Lake Luzerne property.

Ray expressed how fortunate she feels that it was just her home that was lost in the fire.

It sent dozens of firefighters from Warren and Saratoga counties rushing to the scene.

The August fire mostly destroyed the Lake Luzerne home where Rachael Ray and husband John had been recording the show since the pandemic forced them out of the New York production studio in the spring.

Ray told NewsChannel 13 as they return to recording in her guest house following a holiday break she feels lucky that she has a guest house and that she has her life.
