LAKE GEORGE - The mayor of Lake George for the last half-century says he's eyeing retirement.

Robert Blais was first elected in 1971.

The 84-year-old tells NewsChannel 13's media partners at The Post-Star he probably won't run again when his 13th term expires in two years.

Blais currently holds the record for longest-serving mayor still in office in the United States, and the longest serving mayor in state history.
