A year and a half after Warren County camp counselor Dylan Stolz was sentenced to prison for sexually abusing young campers, the family of one of the victims is suing Stolz and Brant Lake Camp.

Stolz, who is serving four-and-a-half years in prison after pleading to molesting seven boys, has not responded to the lawsuit brought by the family of a 9-year-old boy.  So the boy’s family has asked the court to issue a default judgement against him.

Meanwhile, Brant Lake Camp denies any wrongdoing, and in its answer to the lawsuit, maintains the child “failed to take reasonable precautions for his own safety.” The camp charges roughly $14,000 for a seven-week stay.
