LAKE GEORGE - The village of Lake George may be going away.
The village board is pushing forward with the notion of dissolving into the town. It's not the first time they've been down this road, but this time it's different.
Mayor Bob Blais says they’re faced with the most difficult budget in years due to expenses connected to the construction of a $25 million wastewater treatment plant.
So the mayor and the village board have resurrected the idea of dissolving the village into the town.
