Warren County is asking homeowners to stop renting their places.

The county is strongly requesting that all property owners, including owners of second homes, stop listing their houses on Airbnb and other short-term rental sites.

Warren County is also asking people who recently arrived in the area from New York City to check in with the Warren County Public Health Department.

"We want to give them advice, you know. We're going to ask them that they stay in their home for 14 days, and they don't go traveling all over and doing things. We have been getting calls from people and we've had very good cooperation so far,” said Frank Thomas, Chairman of the Warren County Board of Supervisors.
