Whitehall police end standoff near South Williams Street

A standoff in Whitehall early Tuesday morning ended peacefully.

The concern was in the area near South Williams Street.


NewsChannel 13 Reporter Mark Mulholland found out that the standoff happened around 4 a.m. It involved a man wanted in connection with some crimes in Fair Haven, Vermont.

Police had instructed people on nearby streets to stay in their homes for some time.
