A Schenectady student is being recognized for her leadership.

Nadia Nunn is this year’s SkillsUSA Student of the Year at Capital Region BOCES in Albany.

Nadia is an aspiring animal trainer with a passion for the arts.

The honor is given to the student who best exemplifies SkillsUSA by their leadership and service to others, participation, and dedication.

Nadia is completing her second year of the Digital Media Design program.
