Local young students are learning all about the environment thanks to a recent field trip.

Sixth-grade students in the Sharon Springs Central School District and their teacher Sam Bonderoff took a trip to SUNY Oneonta.

Students got to visit the school’s biological field station and Thayer Farm. They also caught and studied lots of critters in the pond.
