Capital City Rescue Mission awarded for hard work

Congratulations to the Capital City Rescue Mission and Executive Director Perry Jones.
Both were honored just over a week ago at a national Citygate Network conference in Baltimore.
Citygate is a network of North America’s independent, faith-based crisis shelters.
The rescue mission in Albany received its accreditation for excellence and Jones was chosen as the 2021 recipient of the Nehemiah Award.
It honors people for having a vision and a strong voice, challenging the status quo and caring deeply about the marginalized in society.
