Albany enjoys 97% eclipse totality

Many people didn't have to travel all that far to watch the solar eclipse because right here, the city of Albany got to see 97% of the totality of this phenomenon.

The city of Albany had 97% of the totality during the eclipse. It still put on an amazing show, but was nowhere near as dark as people in the zone of totality saw.

A big party was held on the Albany Skyway, with a much quieter gathering outside the state Capitol.
