Albany Police have made in arrest in connection to a slew of thefts in the Pine Hills neighborhood.
18-year-old Ernest Legree was picked up by police last night after police got a call that someone was stealing packages from homes on North Pine Avenue in Albany. While they were talking to him, police say they found Legree had 17 active bench warrants because he didn’t show up to court for other larceny arrests.
Police say he also had five active arrest warrants for ripping off the CVS on Delaware Avenue. They also slapped him with more charges for that incident.
Legree was arraigned Saturday morning on all 22 warrants and the now six additional charges. He was released to the Albany County Probation Department.
