Fallon Pharmacy pays thousands to resolve allegations

A Latham pharmacy has agreed to pay more than $7,000 to resolve allegations that it improperly filled some prescriptions.

According to the U.S. attorney’s office, Fallon Wellness Pharmacy admitted dispensing ketamine to patients who were being treated by two Albany-area doctors who have since lost their ability to prescribe controlled substances.

Ketamine has legitimate uses but has also been abused recreationally as a party drug.
