More than 1,000 people gathered Saturday in Hudson to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
The celebration kicked off with the second annual Hudson Latinx Parade featuring 250 participants representing 12 countries.
The community festival was hosted by the Columbia County Sanctuary Movement. That’s an organization that offers support to newly arrived immigrants.
All the performers and vendors that took part in the festivities were Latinx business leaders from across the region.
Magdalena’s Restaurant, Angel’s Dominican, Lidia Empanadas and many more local restaurants offered a variety of foods at the event.
