The names of 469 fallen firefighters including those who died in 2020 and 2021 were added to the memorial wall of honor.
This is the first time the event has been held in person since the pandemic started.
All who died are considered to be in the line of duty whether at the scene of a fire or those who died from occupational illnesses such as heart disease, cancer or suicide.
Lori Jackson attended to honor her husband Troy Jackson who died of throat cancer. The names of more than 8,600 firefighters, some dating back to 1918, are etched on the memorial wall.
