Union requiring proof of vaccination for sporting events

Plan to bring your vaccination card and a mask if you go to a Union hockey game. Union College announced Wednesday that proof of vaccination is required for all indoor sporting events.
This affects all spectators over age 12. Kids ages 5-11 must show proof of at least one dose of a COVID vaccination.
CDC vaccination cards or the Excelsior Pass will be accepted.
In addition to being vaccinated, everyone is required to wear a mask.
Children ages 2-5, who can’t be vaccinated, can go to games as long as they also wear a mask.

The policy takes effect on Dec. 30.
