A convicted felon from East Greenbush was sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for unlawfully possessing ghost guns and ammunition.
Jonathan Cuney, 38, pleaded guilty back in June.
He admitted he bought parts of firearms online and had them shipped to his home in East Greenbush, to his storage unit in California, or to Providence, Rhode Island, where he once ran a gun shop.
He then used those parts to build handguns and rifles and silencers with no serial numbers.
Cuney has a prior conviction for unlawful gun trafficking.
His jail sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release.
