Some Capital Region colleges and universities started their spring semesters on Monday.
UAlbany and SUNY Schenectady both delayed their start dates to Jan. 24, giving students more time to get tested for COVID, and to get their booster shots.
For the first two weeks of the semester, SUNY Schenectady classes will be taught online.
Siena students are required to have a COVID-19 booster if they’re eligible.
Saint Rose students were also returning to campus Monday, after starting the first week of the semester online.
