Amsterdam PD arrests three men after drug bust

Two people are in jail tonight and one out on bail after police in Amsterdam executed twin search warrants this week.
Police say on October 5, detectives went to homes on Putnam St. and Locust Ave.
On the 200 block of Locust Ave., they found a large amount of cocaine, heroin and other items associated with drug trafficking. Officers arrested 30 year old Anthony Diaz and Nayquan Joseph, and are charging both with multiple drug charges.
On Putnam St., detectives say they found and arrested 31 year old Jose Manon, who had an arrest warrant out for criminal sale of a controlled substance. In the residence, officers found packaged heroin ready for sale.
Manon is out on bail tonight. All are due back in court at a later date.
