MESQUITE Texas – Students at Vanguard High School in Mesquite, Texas are working in a unique way to chase their career goals.

Real-life scenarios are helping them prepare to be firefighters and paramedics.

The students work hand in hand just like in the real world, focusing a lot on saving lives, not just dousing flames.

The students can even earn college credit in the program before they graduate from high school.
