New York State Police welcomes 218 new troopers

New York State Police graduated 218 new troopers from the academy on Wednesday morning.

The ceremony was held at the Empire State Plaza. Gov. Kathy Hochul was there to congratulate them.

The graduates of the 211th session of the New York State Police Academy will join the more than 3,500 men and women who make up the department’s uniformed force.
