Saratoga County man sentenced for Albany gun violence

A Saratoga County man will be spending eight years in state prison in connection to Albany gun violence.

Armando Sanchez, 31, of Cohoes pleaded guilty Tuesday to firing a handgun at a group of people in July 2021 around Clinton Avenue.

He also pleaded guilty to owning a gun illegally in April 2022 on Grand and Elm streets.

After his eight years, he has five years of post-release supervision.
