People living around Saratoga Hospital have won a victory in New York State Supreme Court.

Since 2014, they have been fighting a proposed office complex the hospital wants to build in their neighborhood.

This week, the Appellate Division ruled the city council did not properly review environmental concerns before voting in 2019 to change the zoning on Morgan Street from residential to institutional.

The hospital has not yet responded to the court’s decision.
