Taconic High School in Pittsfield is one step closer to naming a mascot.
The school committee dropped the school’s previous mascot, the Braves, nearly a year-and-a-half ago, saying it did not honor Native Americans.
NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle report the school is now deciding between three options: the Rockets, the Thunder, and the Titans.
They hope to have a decision made by the end of March.
