Man charged with DWI after colliding with tractor-trailer in Colonie

Colonie police say the driver of a sedan that crashed into a truck on Wednesday morning is now charged with DWI.
The truck ended up hitting a telephone pole and a tree outside the Wendy’s near the intersection of Central Avenue and Karner Road.
Police tell NewsChannel 13 there was a fuel spill that required extensive cleanup.
The car’s driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. The truck driver wasn’t hurt.
