It was an apple picking free for all Wednesday at Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont.
People were able to pick a peck of apples, with all the proceeds going to a good cause.
Volunteers picked apples to donate to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
They worked from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The farm will host their annual spooky pet parade this weekend. All proceeds will go to the nonprofit Out of the Pits, a local pit bull rescue shelter.
