Report: Vasectomies increasing during March Madness
With NCAA basketball tournament underway, some men are finding an excuse to spend some extra time on the couch.
ESPN reports urologists see a 50% increase in the number of vasectomies scheduled around March Madness.
Doctors say it’s a popular time because men are advised to take it easy for two to three days after the procedure.
The procedure takes about 20 minutes and is done under local anesthesia.
