The Green Tech boys basketball team fell short to Mount Vernon in the Class AA state championship game on Saturday, 55-45. It’s the Knights’ twelfth state championship. The Eagles were looking to avenge an early season blowout loss to Mount Vernon, but it wasn’t meant to be. NewsChannel 13 all-star Dayshaun Walton scored 20 points to lead the way for Green Tech in the loss.
