Excelsior College program offering bilingual degree programs

Excelsior College is offering a new online program to help Spanish-speaking students achieve their educational goals.

¡Adelante! – which means "forward" or "ahead" – is Excelsior College’s first bilingual degree pathway in Spanish. Online courses began March 7 and the enrollment period is now open.

The programs works by providing you the opportunity to increase your English language proficiency while at the same time taking academic courses in Spanish.

The college says they will help support you in everything that you do so that you’re able to navigate the online world.

Students improve their English language proficiency over time while starting with college courses in Spanish, building their English language confidence and eventually transitioning to complete their degree requirements in English.

For students who may have college-level credits from institutions outside the United States or who attained degrees in their countries of origin but have been unable to transfer their degrees to the U.S., the Excelsior College team says those students can get college credit for prior learning.

¡Adelante! offers bilingual degree programs in Administrative and Management Studies, Business, Health Sciences, Health Care Management, and Liberal Arts.
