Ballston Spa student recovering after being hit by police car

BALLSTON SPA – A 16-year-old student in the Ballston Spa School District is recovering after being hit by a car.

Police say investigator Danielle Keating was driving on Ballston Avenue when she hit the high school student.

She is being treated at Albany Med and is expected to be okay.

Investigator Keating was on duty at the time.

State police say the crash remains under investigation.
