MECHANCVILLE – The superintendent of Mechanicville School District has been placed on leave.
Bruce Potter posted on Facebook he was placed on paid administrative leave by the Board of Education.
Potter says a complaint has been lodged, and the district has an obligation to conduct an impartial investigation, but cannot go into further detail.
Potter goes on to say he hopes the investigation concludes in a short time, so he can go back to work.
Assistant Superintendent Kevin Kolakowski is serving as the acting superintendent.
