A Fort Plain family is pleading for help from the public. Thomas Dorch and Carla Locatelli’s Appaloosa horse Sage is missing. She was last seen on Copperknoll Road.
Sage got up for breakfast at 7 a.m. and had dinner at 4 p.m.
However, on Wednesday night something changed. Dorch says he kissed Sage goodnight at 9 p.m. but that was the last time he saw her.
They originally thought she broke out but there was no sign of her hooves, Locatelli told NewsChannel 13.
Locatelli and Dorch say they’ve called the police, but it’s been two days and no sign of their beloved horse.
They are calling for her safe return.
“All I know is we want is her safe and sound and back where she belongs,” Carla Locatelli said.
