Volunteers honor veterans in Bennington

Veterans Day was marked with parades across the nation.

In Bennington, school groups, fire departments and military groups took part in the parade Friday morning.

Also in Bennington, volunteers gathered at the Vermont veteran’s Home to put flags in the cemetery.

30 people came out to help in the effort to honor our veterans.

Organizers say it was nice to see all the young people on hand helping.
