TROY – A man has been convicted in the 2020 homicide of a 6-year-old boy in Troy.
Kevin Cox now faces 25 years to life in prison.
Prosecutors say Cox made Davonte Paul sit outside on a snow covered deck one February evening, leaving him in the bone-chilling cold for hours. They say that caused the young boy’s death.
Cox will be sentenced on May 18.
