Low Vitamin D counts could lead to a greater risk of breast cancer.

Researchers from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences found women with sufficient Vitamin D levels had a 21% lower chance of developing breast cancer.

The link between Vitamin D and breast cancer was strongest among Hispanic/Latina women, who had a 48% lower rate if they had sufficient Vitamin D levels.
