Tonko announces $257 million to help fight pollution in NY state

More than $257 million in funding will be coming to New York over the next five years to help fight pollution. Congressman Paul Tonko announced the funding in honor of Earth Day.
The money will be used for investments in clean transportation and climate-friendly infrastructure for the state.
It hopes to provide people in New York with more transportation options, ease traffic congestion and reduce carbon pollution.
