Man admits to killing Shaker High student

A man pleaded guilty Thursday to killing a Shaker High student.

Branden Rivera, 20, admitted to killing Destiny Greene, 15.

Rivera was 19 years old when he was charged in the 2021 shooting death of the Shaker High School student.

It happened during an attempted robbery, after a transaction that started on social media.

Rivera faces 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced in January.
