Woman flown to Albany Med after Queensbury crash

QUEENSBURY – One person is hospitalized after a crash involving a motorcycle in Queensbury.

It happened around 5:40 Tuesday evening on Quaker Road.

Warren County sheriff’s deputies say 87-year-old Joann Levak was making a left turn onto Lafayette Street and crashed with 25-year-old Jasmine Earnest, who was driving a motorcycle.

Police say Earnest was thrown from the motorcycle, suffering life-threatening injuries. She was flown to Albany Med.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.

The crash remains under investigation.
