Teenager injured in Crossgates Mall shooting

ALBANY – Police are investigating a shooting outside of Crossgates Mall that sent a 17-year-old to the hospital.

Guilderland police tell us at 2:51 P.M. Sunday, they received a call that a female victim had been shot in the hand near the Best Buy parking lot.

The victim was transported to Albany Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say all suspects fled the area before police arrived on the scene.

Guilderland police say this appears to be an isolated incident and an investigation is ongoing.
