Ski season begins in Capital Region
It is officially ski season.

A handful of resorts in and around the Capital Region say they have runs all ready for skiers.
Gore Mountain opened up more terrain on Friday, and crews at Jiminy Peak were busy making snow. That resort opened Friday morning at 9 a.m.
Stratton Mountain in Vermont is also welcoming back winter. The resort posted pictures of happy skiers on its Facebook page.
