The Diocese of Springfield in Massachusetts, which serves Berkshire County, is listing what they say is a credible sexual abuse allegation.
It accuses the late Rev. Thomas O’Connor.
The Berkshire Eagle reports he served three parishes over the course of 15 years in Berkshire County.
It was years after his death in 1987 that a credible allegation surfaced that he had sexually abused a minor.
The diocese changed its policy to include priests who had died before abuse allegations were made.
