NYRA completes pony track renovation at Belmont

These days we’re thinking sleigh-rides, but the New York Racing Association continues to make upgrades for the summer racing season.

NYRA is announcing the completion of a major renovation of a pony track at Belmont Park, in Elmont New York.

Located just to the northeast of Belmont’s training track, NYRA says the quarter-mile pony track will primarily be used for jogging horses.

It’s scheduled to be open seven days a week, starting this coming Tuesday.
