New NY state laws signed to protect warehouse workers

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the “Warehouse Worker Protection Act” into law on Wednesday.
This will protect warehouse distribution workers from undisclosed or unlawful work speed quotas, and includes protections for workers who fail to meet those quotas.
Hochul called the bill especially timely – as New Yorkers celebrate the holidays with gifts and packages.
