Clean water advocates from across the state were in town Monday, calling on Gov. Hochul to lower proposed drinking water levels for nearly two-dozen PFAS chemicals.

The group says whenever these chemicals are found in your drinking water, you’re not told about it.

They also note the chemicals are odorless and tasteless, so you won’t even know when they’re there.

Advocates say they also want municipalities to be equipped with the proper equipment to test for these chemicals.
