NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Technician Fifth Grade Joe King McLaughlin of Albany.
The husband and father of eight served from 1943 to 1946, including time in the Battle of the Bulge.
He later worked for Callanan Industries and owned a grocery business.
He passed away from a car crash in 1981.
