Suspect still sought in Albany weekend shooting

ALBANY – Police in Albany are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in the hand Saturday night.

Police say they were originally called to 4th Avenue and Franklin Street for reports of shots fired, but they didn’t find anything.

They later got a call from Albany Medical Center about a 34-year-old man who walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his hand. Officers later discovered he was shot near Franklin Street.
