Owen Wilson movie shoot brings big economic boost to Spa City

You’ve likely heard the buzz coming from Saratoga Springs lately. Owen Wilson is starring in a film being shot there, called “Paint.”

Movie production means more than just a chance to catch a glimpse of the star. People who track these things say the economic impact of an independent film production like the one being shot in Saratoga County this week is about $125,000 a day.

The Chamber of Commerce and the Convention and Visitors Bureau are thrilled to have landed this project and hope it leads to more.
