Albany Police searching for person who abandoned cat in duffle bag

Police in Albany are asking for your help finding the person who abandoned a cat in the city.

The person abandoned the cat by putting it in a duffle bag, and leaving it next to the garbage cans on Sherman Street near Henry Johnson Boulevard, police said.

Someone later found the cat, and it was taken to the humane society.

The cat is currently in good health, and up for adoption.
