Albany man accused of stealing car

A man from Albany has been arrested after he allegedly stole a car.
Tariq Royal, 32, was stopped around 6 p.m. Tuesday, the Albany County Sheriff’s Department said.
The vehicle was reported stolen back in February, reported investigators, after they ran the registration through the DMV’s database.
Royal was released on appearance tickets.
