A Schenectady man who went missing after snowmobiling on Schroon Lake has died, State Police said.

Paul Kelleher, 71, of Schenectady did not return to his camp this past Saturday night.

Officers say he was traveling with his family when it’s suspected his snowmobile fell through the ice.

His family could not find him due to whiteout conditions from the snowstorm.

Forest rangers responding by airboat found Kelleher. He was pronounced dead on scene.
